I saw a small article on a photography exhibition based around portraits of people's beloved childhood toys. Most of them were teddies that had be so abused/loved that they weren't recognizable anymore, but they looked like great characters. I wanted to paint more than just this guy but I ran out of time.
I also wanted to stylize it a bit more but I got too caught up in referencing the photo, so here we are.

I had some spare time in work and got a doodling, getting ever so slightly better at using photoshop

Probably, my first attempt at blocking out colours in photoshop.. still need to loosen up and use broader strokes, but hey, learning!

Mermaid.. another instalment of learning photoshop, this time for a charity fundraiser in Dublin.

Some poster-ish things I worked on for my local roller derby team, on lunch breaks.
Only really learning photoshop at this stage, and still a long way to go.

Taking up life-drawing again, I missed it, but my arm isn't used to that much work!
Not sure how/why I gave the model such large feet, they were in fact very delicate feet, shame on my inaccurate representation!

sketchbook cleanout

partial blind-drawing, with painted and some lined added in after.
Kinda like that sort of thing

Blind-drawing of a man sunbathing. I really like how his head spreads out passed his shoulders

Blind-drawn.. sparrow or crow or something

Funny Bulldog I saw in the park.

I decided to go through a few of my sketchbooks and throw out what i could, so I photographed a few of the pictures I liked enough to keep hold of, and here they are.
