Last week I took part in a storyboarding course run by FAS and Screen Training Ireland, which was a combination of talks and practical work.
Brown Bag kindly gave us a script from one of their shows, Octonauts, which we divided up between us and storyboarded as best we could.
This is from the episode Flying Fish.
We used trail versions of storyboard pro, which, while overall was a rewarding program to work in, there were quite a few glitches, plus the trial version limited the amount of scenes/panels to 30 per file, so to complete my sequence, I was forced to divide my work into two file, movs and pdfs.
Theres quiet the watermark there too, but hopefully I might be able to get my grubby little paws on a proper version of the combined pdf and mov.
if I do, i will certainly upload.
ALSO! ... we were given the sound bites pre-cut, so there's a few things that don't hook up properly sound-wise thro the animatic.
just warning you guys..

here a selection of poses that were, probably, somewhere in between 5 and 20 min.. cant remember...
as a side note, for those of you who hadn't guessed it already, these were all done as practice, not intended as finished pieces. if you have a problem with that, I am truly sorry that I don't care
